As Co-Director/Sponsorship Coordinator: As a Salem-business owner (Salem Cycles) Dan's main tasks revolve around business relations and procuring sponsorship.

Personal: Owner of Salem Cycle Dan Shuman’s passion for biking began when he was 14 years old following month long bicycle trips around Prince Edward Island and along the Pacific northwest coast.  For over twenty years he has utilized his skills as a certified bicycle mechanic and entrepreneur to enhance the biking experiences of North Shore residents.

Past chairman and current member of the City of Salem bike path committee, Dan was nominated by the Salem Chamber of Commerce as its 2007 businessman of the year. For several years, he has worked to bring the Witches Cup back to Salem and is excited to join Paul Boudreau and Comprehensive-Racing, one of the bike clubs and teams sponsored by Salem Cycle, in successfully meeting the challenge.
